It’s a very famous District in Egypt and it is located in El Gamalia area (the centre of the fatimid Cairo), and this is where many of the most important historical streets, mosques, and historical features meet up
Here, you will find the tombs of Al Hussein and Khan El Khalili along with El Azhar Mosque. Then on to the Gates “Bab in Arabic”, and finally to the chandler and electrics districts of El Mosky.
Then proceed to Cairo famous Gates (in Arabic: Bab). There were eight gates but three of replacements still exist and well known: Bab ZuwaylaBab al Futah and Bab El Nasr.
After that move to El Mosky, This District was founded by prince Ezz El Din Mosk. On El Mosky there are two streets, one is totally devoted for the electric instruments and the other is for chandeliers (Darb El Barabra), El Mosky is known for its prices as the merchants in this market sell all the products with retail prices.
